Similarly, due to the lax distribution of LEDs, the distance from the light source to the light emitting surface can be planned to be relatively small, so the function of uniform light spot can be achieved. Therefore, selecting low-power LED as downlight can plan the height of downlight relatively low. There are also deficiencies in the selection of small and medium-power led, mainly reflected in the cost. As the low-power led requires the circuit board for electrical connection, generally considering the heat dissipation requirements, aluminum substrate is selected for electrical connection. There are a large number of low-power LEDs, and it is also necessary to select a mounter to paste the LEDs on the aluminum substrate. These two aspects increase the cost of the whole lamp.
The LED of the integrated light source is selected as the light source of the downlight. Because the integrated light source has its own circuit board, it only needs to be fixed in use, so the relatively low-power led saves the cost of the aluminum substrate and the cost of the patch. However, the use of integrated light source in downlight will also have several deficiencies. First, due to the relatively large power of integrated light source and the relatively concentrated heat source during led operation, the requirements for heat dissipation planning are higher; Second, the light emitting surface of the integrated light source is relatively small. In order to prevent light spots on the light emitting surface of the downlight, it is generally required that the distance from the integrated light source to the light emitting surface is relatively large, which requires the height of the reflector to be relatively high. Therefore, the downlight with integrated light source will be relatively high, and the volume of the whole lamp will be naturally large.
